As a Market Insights Analyst, you won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll uncover the stories behind the data that drive our most important decisions. You’ll work closely with teams across Buying, Planning, Marketing, and Digital to bring clarity to complexity—translating market signals into strategic action. If you're curious, collaborative, and passionate about making data meaningful, this is your moment.

 

This  position is HYBRID in our Columbus, OH office.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Strategic Partnership & Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Merchandising, MP&A, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams.
  • Deliver insights that shape product, brand, and customer strategies.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives aligned with our core priorities: Customer First, Product Obsessed, and Transformation Focused.

Data Analysis & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze diverse data sources (e.g., Circana POS, consumer panels, internal metrics, competitive financials).
  • Identify market trends, whitespace opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Translate findings into actionable insights that drive business performance.

Executive-Level Storytelling

  • Create and present compelling data narratives to senior leaders, including the CEO, CFO, and Brand President.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reports such as market recaps, earnings call support, and vendor presentations.

Enablement & Education

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on market data tools and methodologies.
  • Empower cross-functional teams through training and self-service enablement.

What You’ll Need

Core Skills & Strengths

  • Ability to distill complex data into clear, strategic insights.
  • Strong understanding of retail analytics and syndicated data (e.g., Circana).
  • Confident communicator with excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., MicroStrategy or similar).
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a natural curiosity and proactive approach.

Experience

  • 2+ years in market research, business analytics, or consumer insights—ideally in retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Circana data platforms.
  • Experience using Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar reporting tools.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
