General Summary: 

The Calendar Lead is responsible for planning, driving, and tracking the product development calendar and initiatives for Camuto Group across all brands. Focused on ensuring adherence to development targets, calendar and process compliance; collaborates and influences business owners to identify gaps, speed opportunities and inform improvement. Manages stakeholders throughout the development and production cycle and facilitates change adoption where needed.


Reports to: CFO/COO


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees and assists with the building of seasonal product creation calendar from development through production for the Footwear & Accessories product teams

• Partners with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on schedules and processes to ensure quality and timely execution

• Communicates updates across stakeholders and to senior leadership and runs weekly status meetings with the Design, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams. Ensures timely decisions and communication occurs regarding dates, process changes, challenges and risks. Works closely with business owners to ensure all are informed and influence the process where needed.

• Subject matter expert in the product development cycle of footwear; educates and influences the process and consistently seeks out ways to refine and optimize processes by gathering stakeholder feedback through surveys & after-action reports

• Co-leads and supports Design operation focused projects, including seasonal planning and reporting

• Monitor upcoming milestones and potential risks to adherence; provide forward-looking view of risk and oversee creation and execution of mitigation plans with functional leaders as needed.

• Escalate issues via regular communication and weekly dashboards to functional leaders in a timely and diplomatic manner. Work with functional leaders to implement issue mitigation plans

• Escalate issues to Brand leads and Chief Sourcing and Supply Chain Operating Officer in case of risk to issue resolution


Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels

• Strong background and expertise managing a product development calendar and process, preferably in footwear.

• Superior organization skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel and dashboard creation



• 8+ years’ experience in product development and/or production

• 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role or business partner capacity with strong ability to influence people and process


Preferred Qualifications:

• Footwear product development



• BA/BS or equivalent
