The Senior Recruiter/Regional Recruiter is responsible for executing and managing the sourcing and recruitment lifecycle for multiple positions within DSW's field organization. Reports to Senior Manager, High-Volume Talent Acquisition.  No direct reports.  Must possess the ability to:

  • Partner and develop, with the business leaders, strategic sourcing plans to meet current and future openings.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop processes and programs to attract, recruit, hire and retain top talent.
  • Responsible for ensuring the recruiting needs within assigned territory are met.
  • Responsible for proactively sourcing candidates through mall walking, cold calling, networking, internet, employee referrals, internal movement and other creative sourcing venues.
  • Includes conducting the initial interview with potential candidates.  Responsible for screening candidates based on skill sets required.
  • Recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Responsible for managing full life cycle of recruiting/hiring process. This includes scheduling interviews, reference checks, background screens and compensation requirements: manages the acceptance and turndown of all candidates.
  • Communicate on regular basis with business partners on status of current openings and status of sourcing efforts.
  • Search and identify top talent for future needs.
  • Educate Business leaders on internal and external work force, emerging trends and potential watch points.
  • Flex and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 7+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, in a complex environment.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Experienced in developing creative and effective recruitment strategies.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships, provide strong customer service and work in a team environment.
  • Proven organization skills ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands, highly effective in dealing with ambiguity.
