General Summary
The Sr. Manager, Merch Reporting & Analytics is a leader within the DBI Analytics Center of Excellence and is responsible for evolving current analytics to support our Owned Brands strategy, and for creating new reporting & analytics for additional brands as acquired. These assortment analytics for the Brands Group are inclusive of Retail, Wholesale, Drop Ship and ATS. The Sr. Manager handles the complexity of multiple brands, leaders, priorities, and systems, while driving strategic initiatives and ensuring consistency. This role is responsible for the management of a team of Analysts that create innovative prescriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics for the Brand leaders (GM’s), the Sales team, Design, and Merchandise Planning. The Sr. Manager owns and is responsible for certified Brands Group reporting, and partners with IT/BI partners on innovation to ensure accuracy, providing analytics that influence the assortment architecture and overall business profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of analysts responsible for reporting, the creation & maintenance of assortment architecture and planning tools, and merchandise analysis supporting the entire Brands organization, inclusive of:
• Established brands, consisting of multiple DBI retail exclusive brands and Owned & Licensed brands in North America
• Newly acquired brands, with added complexity of new processes, systems/data, and multi-country distribution
• Analyzes topside business metrics and provides executive team recommendations to drive overall profitability and inventory management across our Owned Brands
• Strategic responsibility for all product lifecycle analytics, including supporting the preseason plan alignment process, monthly in season plan reviews, and post season hind sighting
• Formulates solution minded recommendations through risk and opportunity assessments for DBI
• Identifies, scopes and leads projects with key business partners across the Analytics Center of Excellence, Data Center of Excellence, Sales, Design, Production, and IT
• Establishes successful working and support relationships with cross-functional leaders, associates, and consultants, to drive strategy and influence decisions
• Provides leadership and oversight to direct reports; including formal and informal training, one on one development to foster an environment of engagement
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of merchandise management systems required, experience with JDA, EP, ABS, Jesta, MicroStrategy, and Tableau desired. Fluency in Microsoft products required.

Qualifications
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a corporate retail environment; 5 years in financial analytics role
• Previous leadership experience
• 10+ years’ experience in Microsoft Office, Excel required

Education:
• BA or BS in Business, Finance, or related field
