General Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate facilitates the annual Budget and Long Range Planning processes, planning and post auditing business projects, and coordinating the weekly Inc. P&L projection process. 


Reports to: Sr Manager, Corporate FP&A



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support annual Budget and Long Range Planning processes
    • Prepare and maintain detailed financial models
    • Communicate timelines as needed
    • Gain alignment on changes and ensure timely and accurate upload of information within Hyperion Planning and other consolidation tools
  • DB Inc. Projection Process
    • Prepare and maintain detailed financial models leveraging Hyperion Planning and other consolidation tools
    • Run the Inc projection process
    • Prepare all projection related materials and reporting, and consolidate projection-related analysis from functional partners for distribution to senior leadership
  • Business Project Planning:
    • Serve as a finance resource to business partners in the development of business cases to support key projects.
    • Maintain the financial model utilized to measure the costs and benefits of key business projects


  • Provide standard and ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support executive decision making and continued profitable growth of the business



Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate and influence others by translating complex data into easily-understood ideas and recommendations.
  • Excellent excel/financial modeling skill is required with at least a basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Takes initiative and is curious, driven, flexible/adaptable.  Detail oriented.
  • Conducts responsibilities with urgency and a high level of accountability
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment


•     Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in a fast-paced environment (retail experience preferred)



•     Undergraduate (B.S./B.A.) degree in Finance or Accounting is required


Preferred Qualifications:

•     MBA is valued but not required

•     Knowledge of finance/GL packages; Lawson, Hyperion or similar is valued but not required
