Maintenance Technician II- 2nd Shift
Summary: The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for completing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Responsible for keeping building and equipment in good working order for processing activities. This includes, but is not limited to, processing equipment, building, lighting, utilities, etc.
Perform installation on the following equipment:
- Racking and other fixtures
- Plumbing fixtures
- Conveyor system
- Facility improvements/changes
Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and troubleshoot on all parts of the following equipment:
- Conveyors and conveyor systems
- High Speed Sorter Systems
- Plumbing & related fixtures
- Facilities equipment – Compactors, Balers, Dock levelers & locks, Overhead doors
- Power equipment
- Basic electrical fixtures
- Air Compressors
- Other equipment as assigned.
Perform testing and inspection on the following equipment:
- Emergency generators
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned:
- Change light bulbs in facility, office areas and egress lighting
- Painting and remodeling as required
- Load and unload supplies, parts and equipment
- Emergency repairs as needed.
- Completes work orders and other paperwork as required
- Lifting 10 to 100 pounds as required
- Working knowledge of PLCs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in related Distribution Maintenance position in power equipment repair, conveyor repair or overall building maintenance/repair
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in-house as Maintenance Trainee
- Command of safety procedures (including lockout/tagout)
- Advanced power equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Advanced electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagnostic and repair skills
- Basic carpentry, plumbing skills
- Working knowledge of blueprints and schematics
- PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Forklift Driver’s License
- High School Education
