The Lead Integration Developer is responsible for creating custom integration workflows using Informatica.  Works with other teams to negotiate a solution and get results.  They will resolve production issues, troubleshoot and resolve application data and technical integration issues. The Lead position will also be responsible for project design, development and times as well as managing resources assigned to them. The position reports to Manager, Integration with no direct reports.  Must possess the ability to:

 

Responsibilities

  • Build, review and analyze the ETL requirements
  • Design, develop, implement and assist in validating ETL processes
  • Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes
  • Document all ETL related work per company's methodology
  • Maintain existing code and fix bugs when needed
  • Ensure all timeline of loading/validating data are met
  • Develop mapping / sessions / workflows
  • Determine the structure of data; experience in data analysis
  • Self-manage time and task priorities to meet project timelines and identify potential project risks
  • Handle multiple work related tasks
  • Write and optimize SQL code (TERADATA 12.x AND ORACLE, 10 or 11 a MUST) and stored procedures
  • Self-manage time and task priorities and of other developers on the project
  • 24x7 On-Call Support Rotation
  • Plan and coordinate project work stream development and deployment
  • Manage assigned resources per company’s methodology and processes

 

Job Requirements

  • 7-8 years of experience in Informatica development. 
    • Informatica development experience includes the ability to understand reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.
  • 10 years IT experience
  • 3-4 years resource management experience
  • Strong scripting skills(shell or perl)
  • Strong understanding of Informatica PowerCenter 10.x/B2B 10.x
  • Python experience preferred
  • Cloud development a plus
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Previous Teradata database experience preferred
  • Previous Oracle 10 or 11 database experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
