Job title: HR Applications Analyst

General Summary: This role is responsible for translating functional business requirements into configuration and usage guidance in SAP SuccessFactors. The Analyst will utilize a suite of talent management tools within SAP SuccessFactors to ensure the solutions that are delivered are robust, efficient and deliver the maximum possible value to the business. This position serves as a product specialist and will build upon and maintain professional relationships with key colleagues/vendors to ensure the services and solutions provided meet our current and future needs.  Responsible for managing the configuration, production, and maintenance/upgrades of SuccessFactors, including associated analysis and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, design, configuration and testing for implementation/enhancement of new and existing applications.
  • Communicate extensively with HR and IT business partners to translate high level business needs into executable results.
  • Responsible for the implementation of scheduled and ad-hoc releases in SuccessFactors, including communicating upgrade changes, developing test schedules, and understanding full system impact to ensure stability and performance.
  • Plan, execute, and manage the integrations between SuccessFactors and other applications, as required, utilizing Dell Boomi, SuccessFactors Integration Center, and Odata API.
  • Perform basic to advanced configuration analysis into root cause of problems and implement solutions.
  • Perform configuration deployment by moving code from lower sandboxes to production environment and address functionality and integration issues.
  • Communicate status and key business information effectively to both management and internal customers.
  • Maintain, implement and develop business processes documentation, business processes, user procedures, training materials and guidelines.
  • Grant user access through role base permissioning, and understand SuccessFactors security model and the architecture behind it.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality customer service to end users.
  • Good understanding of business processes as well as intra and inter-departmental functions and interdependencies.

 

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with SAP HCM and/or other SuccessFactors modules (Career Site Builder, Recruiting – RCM, Recruiting Management – RMK, Onboarding, Goals, Performance, Compensation, JAM, Succession)
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Integration Center, Web Services, XML, OData API, and middleware products (i.e. Dell Boomi or SF HANA) preferred.
  • Previous Project Management or HRMS/Human Capital Management implementation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Access, Word PowerPoint, Project, and Visio

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the retail industry

 

Education:

  • BA/BS in HR, Business, IT or related field or equivalent work experience
