Summer 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility Intern

If you are driven to help build a better planet through environmental, social and governance topics worldwide through a corporate structure, and have research, reporting and presentations skills, this is the internship for you!

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Sustainability research
  • Collect and analyze information on company-wide achievements, opportunities/gaps and plans to inform responsibility reporting.
  • Research best practices and emerging trends for corporate social responsibility and present findings to team.
  • Research most common sustainability criteria used in measuring the environmental and social impact of our established goals & initiatives
• Determine the proper criteria and questions to ask suppliers, to obtain useful and measurable data on suppliers’ emissions, environmental impact, social impact, procurement practices
• Develop user-friendly process and dashboard for collecting data and sharing our success to the broader organization
• Develop public-facing document briefs as assigned to help communicate target CSR efforts, results and expectations
• As needed, support associate volunteerism program promotion and tracking and assist in executing volunteer events

Skills Requirements:

• Ability to develop work plan, escalate questions and seek clarification when needed from management
• Clear and concise report and summary writing capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Nice to have skills – familiarity with CSR concepts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking will be required
