Project Manager, Application Delivery (Open to Remote)
General Summary:
The Project Management Office (PMO) ensures IT projects are executed effectively and efficiently assuring delivery on time and within budget. The Project Manager will manage and deliver cross-functional IT projects. The role is accountable for directing and driving project management activities across various work streams relative to planning, status, issues, budget, and risks. The role works collaboratively with the various teams across IT, Transformation Management Office, Business Functions on projects within the IT portfolio.
Reports To: Sr. Manager, PMO
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, drive, track, and report on delivery of individual projects. Drive project lifecycle from ideation to completion.
- Lead workshops and meetings with IT partners and business leads to create detailed and comprehensive project plans, then drive the project lifecycle towards achievement of the relevant timelines and milestones.
- Lead project governance activities (project changes, estimation, etc.)
- Create project management artifacts: scope, plan, milestones, budget, risk/issue logs, status reports, sequencing, capacity, etc. Ensure integrity and consistency of data across the portfolio.
- Oversee project execution, resource management, resolve and/or escalate issues.
- Apply standard DBI project delivery processes
- Be an advocate for project management and the PMO across the organization while driving continuous improvement in PMO processes

- Demonstrated understanding of project management processes and project delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in leading IT projects to successful completion and implementation

Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3+ years of progressive project coordination, management, leadership experience
- Experience with various project management methodologies and process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
