Job title: Manager: Corporate Facilities and Services

 

General Summary: The Corporate Facilities and Services Manager will be responsible for coordinating all corporate maintenance service/repair activities.  Supervise an internal team of Facilities and Mail Room staff as well as third party janitorial and maintenance vendors.  Provides technical guidance to resolve and repair any maintenance issues as necessary.

Reports to: Director: Construction

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Management of corporate and leased properties throughout central Ohio
  • Capital and Expense R&M budget planning
  • Process evaluation and improvement
  • Provide leadership and training to the Facilities staff
  • Sourcing and on-boarding of vendors// incumbent vendor development
  • Negotiate contracts with a network of contractors and service providers
  • Working undersatnaing and ability to manage services including but not limited to:
    • HVAC PM and repair
    • Power distribution and electrical repairs
    • Plumbing and Mechanical
    • Grounds maintenance
    • All facets of furniture – purchasing, demount, install, create furniture drawings and facilitate moves
    • Roof repairs, replacement
    • Vertical transportation (PMs and Repairs)
    • Janitorial/ Pest control
    • Café (Repairs, PMs, Misc.)
  • Capital improvement projects
  • Energy Management (monitor operations, improve service)
  • Oversee mail room operations
  • Confidential File Retrieval System
  • Confidential Document Management and Destruction
  • Scheduled maintenance of corporate-owned vehicles
  • Maintain adequate materials and supplies inventory

 

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Team and goal oriendted
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make data driven decisions
  • Expertise in building related trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Janitorial, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proactive

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors degree in building related discipline
  • Construction-related project management experience
  • 3+ years in Facilities Management position  
  • Experience using Service Channel or similar work order management system
