DC Team Lead- 2nd Shift
General Summary: DC team leader is focused on coordinating activities with associates to facilitate the movement of tasks and goods though a defined set of processes designed to meet organizational service expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads, motivates and directs up to 25 associates
- Responsible for the coordination of tactical activities with hourly associates (receiving, picking, packing, shipping)
- Engage partner departments and associates in problem resolution process to assure service outcomes are meeting expectations
- Identify, resolve and communicate exceptions with Distros and waves to operational partners
- Functional subject matter expert for outbound WM, WCS and Beumer
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Promote safety at all times and report safety violations to Area Manager
- Monitor and communicate issues with safety, security, building control to Area Manager
- Cross train and effectively be able to operate in other departments and responsibilities based on business requirements along with other duties as assigned

- Aility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to support workload requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership role; preferably in a DC environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience with WMS (Manhattan preferred) and WCS software
- Expert understanding of RF processes with strong ability to train new and existing associates
- Advanced PC skills; including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
