General Summary

The Corporate Communications Digital Media & Content Producer works with our Corporate Communications team to tell compelling stories through digital communications in various internal and external channels in support of our corporate narrative and communications strategy. These include our internal communications application MS Teams, SharePoint intranet, and our corporate website and social media platforms. These stories will communicate Designer Brands’ narrative and key messages to critical stakeholder groups through images, videos, and other media.

Reports to: Director, Corporate Communications

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, manage and update multi-media content on multiple platforms.

• Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in style, quality and tone of voice.

• Create compelling social content for Designer Brands social media channels in partnership with Corporate Communications team’s strategies.

• Maintain editorial calendar for social media channels.

• Maintain Designer Brands corporate website and related content.

• Concept, produce and edit video and audio content for Designer Brands internal and external communications.

• Design graphics and presentations for internal and external events.

• Must be creative with ability to manage deadlines and multi-task

 

Education & Experience

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred. 2-3 years in digital content production or other related field, such as graphic design, media production, public relations, journalism or corporate communications.

• Experience with social media platforms and posting services such as Hootsuite

• Experience with or basic understanding of Adobe Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver

• Simple video production or editing experience

• Understanding of content management systems and website development

• Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint a plus
