Coordinator – Sales Audit


The Coordinator – Sales Audit is responsible for performing daily activities that support the sales tender reconciliation processes and the consolidation of cash balances in regional banks to our centralized treasury accounts.  The Coordinator also serves a key role in correcting sales exceptions in the e-commerce process to ensure all sales and inventory are accurately recorded in the general ledger.   In addition, the Coordinator collaborates with stores to address questions or issues as well as with our Sales Audit team to accomplish overall team goals.  Reports to the Manager, Sales Audit and does not have any direct reports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Load daily files into the reconciliation software
    • Perform processes to consolidate store cash funds to the central treasury bank account
    • Initiate auto-reconciliation processes for all tender types in reconciliation software
    • May perform some manual reconciliation of exceptions
  • Process Sales Reject corrections
    • Correct sales rejects within the specified goals for completion
    • Watch for new patterns or types of rejects and collaborate with the Senior Accountant to determine the best way to correct 
  • Responsible for making corporate cash deposits
    • Complete deposits weekly utilizing remote capture equipment
    • Prepare deposit listings and organize for month end journal entry
  • Complete manual credit adjustments as necessary
  • Review and respond to e-mails from stores related to cash incident reports
  • Always strive to improve operations and identify efficiencies with our department, in order to help support our customers
  • Provide support on Sales Audit projects and other processes as needed





  • 1-2 years of Accounting related experience is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Possesses strong organizational and project management skills
  • Individual in this role must have a positive attitude and a willingness to help other team members achieve department goals and deadlines.
  • Must possess great attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
